LSWA x transfr Virtual Reality
Transfr VR headsets allow us to offer career exploration through virtual reality experiences that simulate real-world work environments. With transfer VR we can provide our community workplace simulations to 50+ careers.
We use Virtual Reality Headsets at:
-Local school career events
-Community career exploration events
-Job fairs
-Outreach engagements
Each VR experience runs 5-10 minutes and allows participants first-hand experience in a variety of career fields. As a result, students and job seekers can experience what different careers actually feel like, helping them make more informed decisions about their future.

Virtual Reality at the American Job Center
Virtual Reality career exploration is coming to the American Job Center. In 2025, our AJC computer lab was remodeled to accommodate 4 Virtual Reality Stations for local job seekers and career explorers.
