American Job Center Mobile Unit
The American Job Center (AJC) Mobile Unit facilitates our community outreach program, established in 2004. Updated with new technology in 2019, the AJC Mobile Unit is equipped with seven computer workstations, a generator, and a printer to provide job seekers with career support. Our Mobile Unit maintains a monthly schedule, visiting locations throughout Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties. When visiting the Mobile Unit, you will meet a dedicated career specialist that is eager and prepared to support you in exploring local career opportunities and identifying resources that will help you achieve career success.
In addition to regularly scheduled visits, the mobile unit is utilized for special events such as:
- Job and Resource Fairs
- Plant Closures
- High School Career Events
- Faith-Based Events
- County and Community Fairs
- Veteran Assistance Events
